Description:

The central theme of this installation focuses on the environmental impact of specific plant species. I have formed eight distinct groups from plants found along the Danube, which represent ecologically distinct categories. In addition, this approach carries an intriguing aesthetic aspect, positioned at the intersection of color theory, aesthetics, and ecology. Classification: 1. Native medicinal species near the Danube: Sambucus nigra - Elderberry 2. Invasive medicinal species near the Danube: Solidago - Goldenrod 3. Invasive allelopathic species near the Danube: Ailanthus altissima - Tree of Heaven 4. Invasive toxic species near the Danube: Parthenocissus vitacea - Virginia Creeper 5. Native toxic species near the Danube: Conium maculatum - Poison Hemlock 6. Natural inducer, invasive ornamental plant near the Danube: Hydrangea serrata - Hydrangea 7. Hyperaccumulator native species near the Danube: Medicago sativa - Alfalfa 8. Species banned in Hungary due to its intoxicating effect, found near the Danube: Othello grape variety
