Behind all my works there is an embedded story, often using private mythological elements. The private mythological sphere is an environment where I am able to tell a story with symbolic visual elements. The purpose of this is to process my life experiences and through the artwork to release my tensions, rework and reinterpret what has happened. I often like to work from a place of resentment, anger and spite, I find that these heated states can be a good starting point to begin a body of work. Humour, irony and grotesque 'essence' play an important role in my work. I like to experiment with materials, working on both canvas and textiles.
