ARTIST STATEMENT I live in Central Europe, in Hungary. I make pictures with various graphic techniques, the works exhibited are linoleum cuts. I mostly use natural motifs. I am interested about the world where I live in. The image that appears in our consciousness can be communicated to each other in different ways and languages. Each mode has its own characteristics and limits, one of most complete and complex is art. I like traveling. I can't give back in its own totality the wind, rainwater-worn mountains in Anatolia, a shower on the outkirts of Mexico City, a trough shivered night in the Polish Tatras or a humid tropical rainforest. All this can be constructed according to same elementary particles and their strictly defined order. There are same phisical limits to the forms of matter we perceive. At speeds above 300 000 km/sec it is transformed into another quality, that isn't know yet. We have already heard from few dozen components of the atom, and haw many can be divided into hundreds or thousands, we don't know. We are currently on string theory, but what's next? Maybe the universe wich has been expanding since 13,5 billion years is just an atomic particle of another even wider universe. I forget all this, when my tooth begin to hurt. I go to the dentist on the longest way and my look sticks to the toe-caps of my shoes. How big and small the world is at once. Its phenomenas, laws can be described in different ways, by different means, one of wich is graphics.
