abstract, memories, places

Description:

Fragments of memory emerge as I walk through familiar places I have not seen for a long time. Sometimes they appear with striking clarity, other times they remain faint and elusive. Thoughts circle back, while lived moments settle into layers upon one another. What was once a collection of separate memories gradually intertwines, gathering new layers of meaning as time quietly reshapes it. Perhaps places do not preserve our memories after all; perhaps we carry them within us, and the places merely awaken what has never truly disappeared.
