My artistic practice is built on the encounter between ancient knowledge and modern magic, primarily examining the centuries-old tradition of alchemy. I interpret transformation not only as a physical process, but also as a slow, layered transformation of the soul and consciousness; for me, the journey is just as important as the end result, as each step of the process has its own value. My works are often based on the tension and unification of dual pairs of forces—sulfur and mercury, Sun and Moon, masculine and feminine principles. These polarities mark the possibility of wholeness, where opposites do not cancel each other out, but complement each other. Innovation and experimentation are important to me, which is why I am keen to use new techniques and methods. Natural transformations and the alchemical meaning of cinnabar red, which for me is the essence of physical and inner transformation, play a prominent role in my use of materials. My works create spaces where viewers can encounter traces of their own transformation process—where the wisdom of the past and the intuitive magic of the present collide.
