Ilona P. Boros was born in 1960 in Tiszakürt, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county in Hungary. In 2015 she graduated with Master Degree in Visual Culture from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Kaposvár. She constantly takes part in applications, national and international exhibitions, biennales, Hungarian and foreign artist colonies. She participates actively in the public art life. Ilona founded and between 1998 and 2010 was the head of the artist group ELSŐ KÖR (First Round) in Törökbálint, and of Regioart Dél-Buda Környéki Regionális Művészeti Egyesület (Regioart Artistic Association of South Buda and Agglomeration). In this second organization she was busy being the president from 2002 to 2004. Furthermore, she also established the group Asztal Társaság (Table) that had several prestigious exhibitions in and outside of the country since its creation in 2011.
