Dies Belli – Digital Counterpart
Anikó Mazán / diesbelli2.online
The paper-based time diary shown in the image is part of the Dies Belli series, documenting the days of war. A small QR code allows visitors to access the digital counterpart, which measures in real time the elapsed duration since the US and Israel attack on Iran on February 28, 2026. ( www.diesbelli2.online ).
The parallel between physical and digital media creates a dialogue of human time vs machine time: the deliberate slowness of the hand-written days contrasts with the precision and continuity of the online timer.
