The painting titled Columns presents a field of cylinders of varying heights. Within the composition, the arrangement of forms—and the hollow voids in the ground that replace the columns in some areas—adds a sense of playfulness and movement to the otherwise static imagery, creating a feeling of being part of this world ourselves. The cool blue and grey tones evoke a disciplined, metaphysical, and slightly apocalyptic atmosphere.
The work was selected as the signature image for the 2024 national exhibition Formulations at the Szombathely Gallery, featuring on the exhibition posters, invitations, and the catalog cover.
