Looking at Ellsworth Kelly’s postcard collages, my first question was: what is being covered there? Of course, we can guess about the missing part, but I decided to unravel this mystery and highlight the hidden piece by referencing his humour and playfulness. Luckily, after extensive research I was able to purchase a vintage postcard of the same Concorde Hotel in St. Maarten that he was using. One side of the object shows the inspiration, while the other side is my reply.
