In my Foil Etching series, I process artificial intelligence–generated faces using intaglio techniques. These facial types evoke the characteristic features of social groups living on the margins of society. My goal is to create a photorealistic yet graphically constructed visual world, born at the intersection of classical intaglio processes and artificial image generation. During the workflow, I explore the boundary between individual authorship and machine collaboration, and how this complex process can be integrated into the broader aesthetic and ethical framework of contemporary printmaking. This series is both a technical experiment and a social reflection.
