Secret Garden presents a completely symmetrical, finite structure that functions as an internal space of order and stillness. Like most of my works, this piece was inspired by the clean geometry of an ordinary, found industrial object (a molded pulp packaging element).
The regular, radial pathways of the form evoked in me the disciplined order of formal French and English gardens. Although rendered in perspective, the composition does not recede into infinity; instead, it forms a self-contained, transparent system of shapes. The palette relies on natural tones where the play of light and shadow emphasizes the clean lines and disciplined rhythm. The work focuses on quiet contemplation and the hidden pathways of the mind.
