Description:
With this collection, Andrea Benetti intends to highlight how abstract painting, at least in its embryonic form, has its roots since the origins of our history, going back to prehistoric rock paintings. In these primitive works, in fact, the use of symbols and chromatic forms already emerged which anticipated the fundamental principles of abstractionism, while maintaining a mysterious and primitive character. Benetti, therefore, establishes a direct connection between prehistoric artistic expression and modern abstract forms, revealing how man's aesthetic research, from its first manifestations, was already intrinsically linked to the experimentation of signs and colours.
